Why WhatsApp decides the sale in Oman

Oman’s market is growing steadily, with tourism, real estate, automotive and healthcare leading. Customers value courtesy and patience, and a hurried or pushy reply works against you.

The data protection law’s transition period ended on 5 February 2026. Businesses that built contact lists without explicit consent need to clean them before running campaigns.

The local rules in Oman

Most Gulf deployments fail on local detail, not on strategy. Here is what the setup takes into account.

  • Data law. Personal Data Protection Law, Royal Decree 6/2022, with its executive regulation (Ministerial Decision 34/2024). Fully enforceable since 5 February 2026. Explicit consent is required before sending any marketing message.
  • Calendar. The working week runs Sunday to Thursday. Friday and Saturday are the weekend. Nothing goes out on the local weekend or a public holiday unless you decide otherwise.
  • Time zone. UTC+4, the same as Dubai. Send windows are set in local time, per line.
  • Language. Arabic first, English widely used in business, with a large South Asian workforce.
  • Ramadan. Opening hours shrink and attention moves to the evening, after iftar. Send windows and follow-up timers are shifted for the month.

How we work

Three steps. You can stop after any of them.

Step 1

Diagnostic

We read your real conversations and your current follow-up. You get a written audit: where the leads die and what a faster reply is worth to you.

Step 2

Activation

We connect your WhatsApp lines, write the conversation playbook with your team, and train an AI agent on your own transcripts so it sounds like you.

Step 3

Run

A monthly subscription: we keep the agent trained, run the campaigns and watch the numbers. Your team keeps selling.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a team in the Gulf?

We work remotely with Gulf clients, in English and Arabic, and adapt every setting (week, time zone, language, data law) to the country. Onboarding is done on video calls.

Is it the official WhatsApp Business API?

We work with both the official WhatsApp Business Platform and WhatsApp Business app numbers, depending on your volume and use case. We tell you which fits during the diagnostic.

Is the Omani data law enforced now?

Yes. The transition period ended on 5 February 2026. Explicit consent is required before any marketing message, and the platform records it per contact.

Can we still use our old contact lists?

Only for contacts who gave explicit consent. We help you sort the list and ask for consent the right way before any campaign.

Does the agent answer in Arabic?

Yes, in courteous Arabic by default, or in English, following the customer.
